We are family passionate about plants and greenspaces.  

Don has loved plants and gardening since he was a wee lad in the garden with his Grandad.  He followed his passion with an apprenticeship in Auckland Parks, gaining a Trade Certificate in Amenity Horticulture and Turf Management and going on to manage significant Parks and Open Space

Don has loved plants and gardening since he was a wee lad in the garden with his Grandad.  He followed his passion with an apprenticeship in Auckland Parks, gaining a Trade Certificate in Amenity Horticulture and Turf Management and going on to manage significant Parks and Open Spaces in both Auckland and London.

Kirstin loves to be at the potting bench raising and potting up seedlings, or in the orchard or vege garden with the kids growing and harvesting food for our family.

Our plants start off in our greenhouse for the best start and only the healthiest ones make it outside.

Where ever possible we eco-source our natives, mainly from the Rodney and Northland areas.

We make our own soil mix from a sustainable peat free product.  We have found this to be an excellent growing medium and our plants have thrived.

We also use a 12 month slow release fertiliser so your plants will continue to have a steady supply of nutrients to grow once planted out.
